GCMIC Friends Talk with Dr. Michael Warner
Join the Friends of GCMIC and share an evening with Dr. Michael Warner. Dr. Michael Warner serves as a Command Historian in the US Department of Defense and was formerly a historian for the Central Intelligence Agency and the Office of the Director of National Intelligence.
His latest book, The Rise and Fall of Intelligence, presents a sweeping history of the development of professional, institutionalized intelligence, and examines the implications of the fall of the state monopoly on espionage today and beyond. Dr. Warner has written and lectured widely on intelligence history, theory, and reform. He has taught at American University, Columbia University, and Johns Hopkins University.
