Lessons in Leadership with Sheila Johnson
Ms. Johnson is the Founder and CEO of Salamander Hotels & Resorts. She is also the Vice Chairman of Monumental Sports & Entertainment, with ownership in three professional sports teams: the NBA’s Washington Wizards, the NHL’s Washington Capitals, and the WNBA’s Washington Mystics. And, she is the founder and chair of the Middleburg Film Festival, a celebration of independent film that opened to sell-out crowds in October 2013.
Once asked to describe her business model, Ms. Johnson replied that her business model does not follow any model. On Thursday, May 19, 2016, the Loudoun County Chamber of Commerce is proud to host one of Loudoun County’s most remarkable entrepreneurs, community leaders and philanthropist for a special “Lesson in Leadership.”
