Non-Profit Academy - Navigating the Winds of Human Resources
This workshop will address current Human Resource and Staff Management regulations as they pertain to nonprofit organizations. Topics will range from identifying the secrets of motivation, to interviewing guidelines and employee issues.
Presented by Nancy Symes, SPHR (Senior Professional in Human Resources). Nancy has more than 25 years of HR experience working with diverse organizations including nonprofits, financial services, retail and universities. Areas of expertise include HR policies and procedure development and evaluation, performance appraisal and compensation systems, benefits design and program implementation, identifying and correcting organizational problems, management and executive training programs.
The Loudoun Non-profit Academy
The Loudoun County Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce the launch of the Non-profit Academy training and certificate series in partnership with Piedmont Community Foundation and Loudoun Cares.
Non-profit Academy attendees that complete 40 hours of Academy training over a three-year period earn a "Certified Non-profit Professionals" designation from the Loudoun County Chamber of Commerce.
