Small Business Workshop: Creating a Safe, Harassment-Resistant Workplace
Creating a Safe, Harassment-Resistant Workplace
How to set a positive tone for workplace relationships, avoid harassing behaviors, and create a safe, productive culture for your significant business.
Creating a safe and productive workplace that's free from harassment is important for every business – in fact, it’s the law. However, it can prove to be particularly challenging for small business owners.
Join the Loudoun Chamber Small Business Committee to learn about harassment identification and prevention, learn good practices to better manage potential harassment situations, and learn how to build a more compliant, productive workplace by:
• Identifying behaviors that contribute to harassment and a hostile work environment
• Mitigating and preventing harassment through employee awareness and training
• Addressing difficult conversations relating to harassment
• Avoiding costly mistakes in your policies and actions when addressing workplace harassment
