Right after finishing college at Virginia Tech in August 2001, I began my now 20+ year career in mortgage banking. Over the years, I’ve gained experience in several facets of the business, including post-closing, processing, and underwriting. I spent nine years as a Loan Officer Assistant and the past eight as a Loan Officer. I’ve been on the origination side of the industry since 2005 and began originating my book of business in 2014. Think of me as “the mortgage guy who’s now in a sales role” versus “the sales guy who’s now selling mortgages.”
