About Us
Make-A-Wish Mid-Atlantic® grants transformative wishes to children facing critical illnesses. Make-A-Wish Mid-Atlantic caters to youngsters in the District of Columbia, Maryland, and northern Virginia. Established in 1983, the Mid-Atlantic chapter has fulfilled over 11,000+ wishes in the region since its founding. We serve children aged 2 ½ to 18 who are diagnosed with a critical illness. Wishes aren't just nice, they are necessary, and can have a positive influence on a child's medical journey.
