DESCRIPTION:Institute of Performing Arts for Youth and Creative Dance Center cordially invite you to attend the 2014 "Nutcracker in a Shell All Jazzed Up!" Directed by Geralyn Ward and starring children from all over Loudoun and Fairfax counties\, it will our best show to date!\n\n \n\nOur shorter\, jazzed-up spin on the holiday classic Nutcracker is performed by kids for kids\, providing a really festive and fun way to introduce your little soldiers and angels to a grand holiday tradition. With only four shows\, buy your tickets early for what has become a must-see local family holiday event.\n\n \n\nEvery holiday season\, young Clara wakes up beneath the same magical tree\, meets a gallant Prince\, and travels through space and time to the wondrous realm of the Sugar Plum Fairy. They visit tapping Reindeer\, acrobatic Arabians\, Chinese and Sugar Plums en pointe as well as jazzy Elves and Russians\, and Modern Stars.
