DESCRIPTION:The Loudoun County Office of the American Red Cross in the National Capital Region wants you to be a Red Cross Hero!\n\n \n\nRed Cross Heroes are companies\, faith-based groups\, community organizations and individuals who are able to give $1\,000 or more to help us deliver on our mission\, which is to prevent and alleviate human suffering in the face of emergencies by mobilizing the power of volunteers and the generosity of donors.\n\n \n\nLoudoun businesses can support our mission by encouraging your own employees to give through your very own Heroes campaign on Crowdrise.com (see link below).  By matching employee contributions\, you can easily become a Hero for the Red Cross.\n\n \n\nThe 2013 Heroes Campaign runs from November 1   December 31\, 2013.  Any organization or individual who achieves their fundraising goal during that time will be recognized through Leesburg Today as well as social media outlets on Twitter and Facebook (over 11\,000 followers between the two) for the American Red Cross in the National Capital Region.\n\n \n\nYou can create your own fundraising page by joining the Loudoun County Red Cross Heroes team here \n\nhttp://www.crowdrise.com/LoudounHeroes.\n\n \n\nOr\, please call Erwin Stierle at 703.466.0464 and we will get it setup for you.
