DESCRIPTION:Election Day 2017 was an historic one in Virginia\, for a number of reasons. Chief among these is that voters nearly overturned a  32-seat Republican majority in the Virginia House of Delegates by electing 15 new Democratic representatives\, many in seats held by senior Republic leaders.\n\n \n\nTo help Loudoun County's business and community leaders gauge the impact of the 2017 elections\, the Loudoun Chamber is proud to present the 2018 Virginia General Assembly Legislative Session Preview on December 12th. Speakers for this event include Delegate Kirk Cox (66th District) the House Republicans' Speaker-Designee. \n\n\n\nHe will be joined by members of the Loudoun County General Assembly Delegation\, including three incoming freshman members of the House of Delegates\,  for the final event of the 2017 PolicyMaker Series.\n\n\n\nSpeaker-Designee Cox was first elected to the Virginia House of Delegates in 1989\, representing Colonial Heights and the surrounding community.
