DESCRIPTION:Join us for our 2015 Katherine Marshall Tea Series at The Marshall House\, hosted by The George C. Marshall International Center. Enjoy Traditional English tea on the Marshall House Stone Court\, followed by a talk in the Media Room. In inclement weather\, tea will be served in the Marshalls' dining room and living room. An assortment of tea\, sandwiches\, scones and sweets will be served. GCMIC welcomes Alice Lancaster Buck to be the first speaker in our 2015 Tea Series. Ms. Buck is a researcher\, writer and editor whose career spans from her first job with the State Chamber of Commerce in Richmond to the History Division of the Atomic Energy Commission\, which eventually became part of the Department of Energy. She will share stories passed on by her brother-in-law\, Colonel H. Merrill Pasco\, who served on General George C. Marshall?s staff during World War II.
