Loudoun Chamber Opens Nominations for
2021 Community Leadership Awards
Lansdowne, VA – The Loudoun Chamber announced today that nominations are now being accepted for the 2021 Community Leadership Awards. Nominations will remain open until Friday, October 30, 2020 at 5 p.m.
The Community Leadership Awards honor Loudoun’s business and nonprofit community leaders that have demonstrated exemplary leadership and community engagement to positively impact the quality of life in Loudoun County and to serve the needs of its citizens. These upcoming awards will place an additional emphasis on the response to the ongoing COVID pandemic.
The top honorees are announced at the Chamber’s Annual Meeting & Community Leadership Awards, which takes place in the early part of the following year.

The finalists are chosen in five categories, Large and Small Businesses, Nonprofit Executive, Executive Leaders and Young Professional Leaders. These finalists are chosen by a panel of Loudoun’s top business and nonprofit leaders.

In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Loudoun Chamber has created an additional award called the #StrongerTogether Award. This award will be presented to the most outstanding community initiatives, campaigns and projects created specifically to alleviate the human and economic suffering in our Loudoun community caused by the COVID-19 pandemic and its associated impacts. Five #StrongerTogether Award honorees will be chosen.
“Loudoun’s business and nonprofit communities have demonstrated outstanding leadership in their collective response to the public health and economic crisis created by COVID-19. All while enduring their own challenges as a result of this pandemic. It is our privilege to celebrate these great Community Leaders and to thank them for all they have done, and will continue to do, to make Loudoun a world-class community,” said Chamber President & CEO Tony Howard.
