Loudoun Chamber Opens Nominations for 2023 Community Leadership Awards

Lansdowne, VA – The Loudoun Chamber announced today that nominations are now being accepted for the 2023 Community Leadership Awards. The deadline to nominate a local business or community leader for this award is Friday, October 28, 2022, at 5 p.m.
The Community Leadership Awards honor Loudoun’s business and nonprofit community leaders that have demonstrated exemplary leadership to positively impact the quality of life in Loudoun County and to serve the needs of its citizens.

The top honorees will be announced at the Loudoun Chamber’s Annual Meeting & Community Leadership Awards gala, which will take place on Friday, January 20, 2023, at The National Conference Center in Lansdowne.

The finalists are selected in five categories: Large and Small Businesses, Nonprofit Executives, Executive Leaders, and Young Professional Leaders. These finalists, and the eventual top honorees, are chosen by a panel of Loudoun’s top business and nonprofit leaders.
“Loudoun’s businesses and nonprofits are the backbones of our community, working non-stop to serve our neighbors in need while creating a world-class quality of life and economy that serves us all. The Loudoun Chamber is proud to honor the best of these outstanding Community Leaders at our Annual Meeting, where we also will honor our own outstanding leaders for all they have done to make Loudoun a great place to live, work, play and grow a business,” said Chamber President & CEO Tony Howard.
The 55th Annual Meeting & Community Leadership Awards also will celebrate the outstanding leadership of our outgoing Board Chair, Shawn Mitchell, CEO of Modern Mechanical.
Each Community Leadership Awards winner has the opportunity to select one nonprofit organization to be the beneficiary of a $1,000 grant, courtesy of the Community Foundation for Loudoun and Northern Fauquier Counties.
