The GovCon Initiative Workshop Series is free to attend for any government contractor. Non-industry or service providers are welcome to attend, but are required to bring a government contractor as a guest to the event.

Matt began his career in intercollegiate athletics at the University of Virginia in 2003, moving to Washington and Lee University, and finally Temple University. He transitioned to Novartis Vaccines in 2011 to focus on public health and immunization practices. At Novartis, Matt held several roles in sales, marketing, and management. Matt holds a degree in Chemistry from Washington and Lee University, a Masters in Chemistry Education from the University of Virginia, and a MBA in Finance and Innovation Entrepreneurship from the Northeastern University D’Amore-McKim School of Business.
Ted Lauer | Senior Vice President
Access National Bank
Ted Lauer is a SVP, with Reston, VA based Access National Bank, a business-lending focused bank serving small to lower-middle-market local businesses. Ted is responsible for Access National’s Leveraged Finance initiatives, including funding acquisitions and organic growth, ESOP finance, and SBIC teaming. Ted has, in his 29 year career, been in various lending and management positions, most notably with Crestar Bank, Maryland National, Patriot National, and since 1999, with Access National Bank as a co-founder.
