Meet the Artist - Robert Merhaut

North Gate Vineyard is pleased to announce the appointment of local photographer, Robert Merhaut as the program’s newest Artist-in-Residence. Robert will be hosting a public reception showing his work entitled ‘Here and There, Continuation’ at North Gate Vineyard on Saturday April 8th, from 1PM to 5PM. His show features a collection of photographs covering a wide range of subjects. Robert displays a natural creative talent, a practiced eye, knowledge of what works, deep technical expertise and a true love of the art of photography. His photographs will be on display through July 3^rd, 2017.
Originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Robert Merhaut has over 25 years of experience as an artist, photographer and business person. His passion for photography follows a family tradition that he inherited from his Uncle, a professional photographer also from Pittsburgh. In addition to creating compelling award winning photographs, Robert is known for his professionalism, enthusiasm and relaxed style. A contributing photographer to Northern Virginia Magazine, Robert provides creative services to a variety of clientele.  He can be counted on to deliver exactly what you are looking for while making it an enjoyable experience.
Robert describes his approach to his work as being able to draw from his many years of experience in creative direction and production. “I am able to make the translation between what is real and what is in my mind - seeing and capturing the extraordinary in the ordinary.”
