PolicyMaker Series: The State of Healthcare
Building Ahead of Loudoun’s Growth
Join the Loudoun Chamber on September 15th for the 2026 “State of Healthcare” event, which will feature a Fireside conversation with J. Stephen Jones, MD, President and CEO of Inova Health System.
This conversation will explore how Northern Virginia’s largest health system is working to meet the current and future needs of our region’s residents and workforce while addressing issues of access, affordability, and quality.
Dr. Jones will explain why healthcare is a vital community infrastructure, how Inova is preparing for Loudoun’s long-term growth, and how workforce challenges and changing federal policies are affecting healthcare investments. The discussion will also examine the shared role of healthcare providers, employers, and public officials in ensuring high-quality care remains accessible as our region grows.
Following Dr. Jones will be Dr. William A. Hazel, Jr. MD, Chief Executive Officer for Claude Moore Opportunities, a nonprofit organization that brings together educators, employers, government agencies and nonprofits to create accessible education and training pathways that prepare Virginians—especially those from underserved communities—for high-demand careers, particularly in the healthcare industry.
Join Loudoun’s business and government leaders for an important discussion about the decisions being made today that will shape the health, economic vitality, and quality of life of our community for years to come.
