GCMIC Friends Talk with Mark Bradley
Join the Friends of GCMIC and share an evening with Mark Bradley, historian, author, and former CIA intelligence officer currently serving as an attorney in the US Department of Justice's National Security Division. A Very Principled Boy, his biography of Duncan Lee, traces the tangled roots of Lee's betrayal and reveals his harrowing struggle to stay one step ahead of America's spy hunters during and after World War II. The Society for History in the Federal Government awarded Bradley the 2015 George Pendleton Prize for the best book written by a federal historian in 2014.
Bradley combines a lawyerly ability to build his case with a gift for storytelling to make the life of this cautious, smaller-than-life character more than the footnote it was. Washington Post By invitation to Friends.
