Carol Weisman is the president of Board Builders. She is an internationally known speaker, author, trainer and consultant who specializes in volunteerism, fund raising and governance. Carol works primarily in the US, Canada, Australia and the UK. She has served on 38 boards and has been president of 8.

Carol will present to us on the following key topics:
• How to evaluate your current board
• Where to find potential board members
• Creating a letter of agreement
• How to have a board orientation so great, that members will want to bring their friends and relatives the next year.

 

The Loudoun Nonprofit Academy

The Loudoun County Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce the launch of the Loudoun Nonprofit Academy training and certificate series in partnership with the Community Foundation for Loudoun and Northern Fauquier Counties.

Nonprofit Academy attendees that complete 40 hours of Academy training earn a "Certified Nonprofit Professionals" designation from the Loudoun County Chamber of Commerce.
