Name: Loudoun Tech Startups w. GMU The MIX
Date: September 20, 2017
Time: 5:30 PM - 7:00 PM EDT
Event Description:

This month we kick off the fall speaker series with Sean Mallon. Sean is the AVP for Entrepreneurship with George Mason University. Sean will be sharing with our group the new additions to the University's entrepreneurship programs, MIX and MSEA.

Mason Innovation Exchange (MIX) strives to provide a central place on campus for students and faculty to come together to develop ideas, research problems, craft solutions, and start companies.. This on-campus makerspace encourages multi-disciplinary collaboration across all of Mason's schools and degree programs.

The Mason Summer Entrepreneurship Accelerator program (MSEA) is a new program that allows Mason students and recent graduates to explore the commercialization potential for their product or service ideas.

Loudoun Tech Startups is the local group for the emerging and growing Loudoun Tech community to relax, network and learn together. Come out monthly to meet your tech-minded peers, discuss what you're working on and maybe even find your next opportunity. Loudoun Tech Startups has served the needs of the community since 2012.

This group is sponsored through a partnership between Loudoun County Department of Economic Development and The Mason Enterprise Center-Leesburg.

***We are officially moving this meetup to the third of Wednesday of each month***

Please note, this group was created to help tech firms and startups benefit from connecting with one another. Service providers can participate and share their wisdom, but this isn’t
