Join us at Ticonderoga Farms for our First Annual Children's Dog Show! Children can bring their dog or puppy to the farm to participate in a variety of categories and classes! Children will be divided into two different age groups: 5-8 years and 9-12 years. These groups will then be divided between puppies, ages 10 weeks to 6 months, and dogs, ages 6 months and up. Participate in a series of classes such as; Best Costume, Best Trick, Smallest & Largest Dog, Longest Ears & Tail, and Shortest & Longest Coat. There will also be obedience classes including; Best Sit & Stay for 1 minute and Best Down Stay for 3 minutes. Additionally, there will be a FREE class taught by a professional dog obedience instructor where you will receive a lesson on teaching Sit and Down, as well as, how to improve your Stay and Recalls. We will provide a "Doggy Day Care" area with shade, fans, and an attendant if you wish to stay and play on the farm after the show. If you choose to participate in this option, we ask that you supply your own dog crate, water, and water bowl. Reservation will include admission to all of Ticonderoga's fun activities, such as, hayrides, hillside slides, jumping pillow, farm animal encounters, and more.
