Loudoun Business Growth Seminar Series - Social Media for Small Business & Entrepreneurs

Learn about the most current social media tools available to help small business owners and entrepreneurs engage with their audience and meet their business goals. Information includes social media “etiquette” the costs of social media and how social media can support your business plans from customer service and marketing to developing and maintaining your client base. Participants will learn the basics of setting up a social media network and how to create benchmarks and understand the metrics that can be accessed through social media.
Instructor Kristen Ferrer leads an award winning in-house marketing and creative services team at BLR Holdings Inc. In her spare time she is principle and owner of KT&W Consulting, a boutique marketing consultancy that helps brands develop their online marketing strategies. Over her 15+ year career, she has worked with many B2B, B2C and non-profit organizations delivering innovative marketing strategies and solutions to solve business needs. Her unique experience ties traditional marketing practices with new media and technologies for dynamic, creative, and successful brand experiences.

The Loudoun County Chamber of Commerce and the Northern Virginia Community College present a four part business education series focused on building the skills and effectiveness of Loudoun’s small businesses owners, executives and entrepreneurs.
The Business Growth Seminar Series will focus on the important areas of need that challenge all small business: marketing, sales and business development. Led by professional instructors and subject matter experts, these seminars are specifically designed to boost your business growth. In addition, all attendees will receive a co-branded Certificate of Completion from the Loudoun County Chamber of Commerce and the Northern Virginia Community College at the conclusion of each course, which also may be applied to professional continuing education requirements.
All “2014 Business Growth Seminar” attendees will receive a certificate of completion, co-issued by the Chamber and Northern Virginia Community College. In addition, attendees are eligible to receive continuing education units (CEU) for these seminars, which may be applied to the Project Management Institute (PMI) Professional Development Units (PDU). Each hour of training represents one PDU. NVCC will provide each student that successfully completes the program with 0.3 CEUs.
