Carole C. Mahoney is a marketing communications and public relations professional with over 20 years’ experience in strategic planning, branding, worldwide message and materials development, media relations, event promotion, and advocacy. For the past decade, she has directed branding and messaging efforts for a variety of organizations in the Washington DC Metro, and produced a number of award-winning brochures, ads, and other marketing materials. A former radio announcer, dramatist, competitive speaker, speech instructor and coach, Carole has a passion for helping others speak with precision and confidence.
She is president of Beach House Communications, Inc., a woman-owned independent firm providing marketing communications consulting services, specializing in branding, content development, and workforce training in marketing, business writing, speaking, listening, and other communications skills.
ABOUT THE BUSINESS GROWTH SERIES:
The Loudoun County Chamber of Commerce and the Northern Virginia Community College present a four part business education series focused on building the skills and effectiveness of Loudoun’s small businesses owners, executives and entrepreneurs.
The Business Growth Seminar Series will focus on the important areas of need that challenge all small business: marketing, sales and business development. Led by professional instructors and subject matter experts, these seminars are specifically designed to boost your business growth. In addition, all attendees will receive a co-branded Certificate of Completion from the Loudoun County Chamber of Commerce and the Northern Virginia Community College at the conclusion of each course, which also may be applied to professional continuing education requirements.
All “2014 Business Growth Seminar” attendees will receive a certificate of completion, co-issued by the Chamber and Northern Virginia Community College. In addition, attendees are eligible to receive continuing education units (CEU) for these seminars, which may be applied to the Project Management Institute (PMI) Professional Development Units (PDU). Each hour of training represents one PDU. NVCC will provide each student that successfully completes the program with 0.2 CEUs.
