Every day U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) processes over a million passengers, $7 billion worth of imported products and collects over $144 million is duties, taxes, and fees. This mission spans the global and operates on land, sea and in the air. The men and women of CBP protect our nation while facilitating legitimate travel and trade.
At the heart of this complex mission is data and that data is used by agents and officers to make intelligent decisions enabled by technology. In this session, CBP OIT TASPD Executive Director Jim McLaughlin and Sharon Hallinan of CBP Office of Acquisition will discuss how to do business with CBP.
