Non-Profit Academy | Grant Writing & Grant Research
This one-day workshop drills down into nuts and bolts to help you research prospective corporate and private foundation funders (using Foundation Center “Cooperating Collection” ) and preparing for elements that create a fundable grant request, how to begin building a relationship with an institutional funder, and how to create a “stable” of program proposals for your charity. The session is lead by Amy Owen, who has more than 20 years experience in fundraising and currently serves as the executive director of the Community Foundation for Loudoun and Northern Fauquier Counties.
Non-profit Academy attendees that complete 40 hours of Academy training over a three-year period earn a "Certified Non-profit Professionals" designation from the Loudoun County Chamber of Commerce.
