Stephanie Mendez (vocals) and Phil Kuhn (piano) have been performing as Stealing Dawn in the DC area since 2014 after discovering their mutual musical interests as colleagues.

They perform  music from a wide range of styles, including the torch songs of the 30s, jazz standards of the 50s and 60s, some classic rock and current popular tunes. Think Etta James meets Adele, with some Aerosmith and Radiohead thrown in the mix.

Stealing Dawn can be seen at a variety of local venues throughout northern Virginia this year, and they're also active in local charity and fund raising.
