Loudoun Chamber 2023 BizVotes Candidate Questionnaire Results Released

Candidates for Virginia General Assembly, Loudoun Board of Supervisors and Loudoun School Board Respond to Questions on Loudoun Chamber’s Economic, Quality of Life Agenda

Lansdowne, VA – The Loudoun Chamber of Commerce today released the results from their 2023 BizVotes Election Education Campaign Questionnaire.

Focused entirely on the Loudoun Chamber's pro-business and quality-of-life agenda, the questionnaire was sent to every candidate seeking to represent Loudoun in the Virginia General Assembly or on the county’s Board of Supervisors and School Board.

“Loudoun County is a world-class community to live, work, and grow a business, and that is largely due to the strength of our economy and our community. The BizVotes Election Education Campaign Questionnaire is designed to educate our members on where the candidates that seek to represent our community stand on the issues that will have the greatest impact on our business environment and quality of life,” said Chamber President Tony Howard.

Since 2003, the Loudoun Chamber has conducted the BizVotes Election Education Campaign and questionnaire to educate the Loudoun business community on where the candidates for elected office stand on the Chamber’s top public policy issues. The questionnaire is created by the Loudoun Chamber’s Public Policy Committee and is based entirely on the policy positions approved by their Board of Directors each year.

The BizVotes Election Education Campaign also includes several candidate forums, one each for those running for the General Assembly and another for the Board of Supervisors’ district seats.

There also is an October 13th debate featuring the three candidates running for Chair of the Loudoun Board of Supervisors. Registration for these events can be found at www.LoudounChamber.org/events.
