Express Employment Professional is seeking a skilled Service Technician to join our client and manage various programs related to tool calibration, electrical safety equipment, PPE testing, and operations team organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage Tool Calibration Program: Ensure all tools are calibrated and functioning correctly.
• Manage Electrical Safety Equipment and PPE Testing and Rotation: Oversee the testing and rotation of electrical safety equipment and personal protective equipment.
• Manage Operations Team 5S Program:
• Organize shop storage shelves, carts, toolboxes, and kits in the field.
• Arrange shop tools, equipment, and materials in a logical and efficient manner.
• Inventory and organize a high-value tool cage.
• Maintain clear and accessible walkways and work areas through organization.
• Separate necessary from unnecessary items (tools, parts, materials, etc.) and discard unnecessary items as required.
• Act as a Liaison:
• Between DCOps and Logistics for vendor-managed inventory parts.
• Between GXO and DCOps for any shipping requests and retrievals, ensuring timely shipping and receiving of materials.
• Operate Logistical Equipment: Use a forklift and other logistical equipment to deliver tools/equipment to/from the shop or elsewhere on campus as needed.
• Support Site Maintenance: Develop and stage tool/material kits to support site maintenance.
• Program Documentation and Training: Establish documentation and training programs to support future program expansion.

Requirements:

• Basic Skills: Basic electrical, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC operation and maintenance skills, and/or logistical experience.
• Certifications: Completion of an Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) ten-hour general industry training program, a course on the requirements of NFPA 70E, CPR, AED, First Aid, BBP, and fire extinguisher training prior to start date or within the first four months of commencement of providing services at the facility.
